Abstract

In this study, wood and soil samples were taken from 18 tree specimen, which are native to the Sinop area, and from their different growth environments (Depending on the aspect and the altitude).On samples of wood; tangential and radial diameters of vessels, number of vessels in 1 mm2, lengths of vessel elements, multiseriate ray width and height (micron), numbers of ray in 1 mm, lengths of fibre, widths of fibre, widths of fibre lumen and thickness of fibre wall for measures and countings were determined.Samples of soil; physical (ratio of sand, silt and clay) and chemical (pH, electrical conductivity) features, type and available water capacities of soil were identified.The differences of the wood anatomical features belonging to different Beech specimen were tried to evaluated regarding different data, which was taken from different growth environment by using corelation analysis and Independent sample T analysis.

Bu çalışmada, Sinop Yöresi'nde doğal olarak yetişen 18 adet Kayın odunu ve toprak örnekleri farklı yetişme koşulları (taksonların bulundukları yöre ve yükseltilere göre)'ndan alınmıştır.Odun örneklerinde; trahelerin teğetsel ve radyal çapları, 1 mm2 de trahe sayıları, trahe hücre uzunlukları, mültiseri özışını genişlikleri (mikron) ve yükseklikleri, 1 mm de özışını sayısı, lif uzunlukları, lif genişlikleri, lif lümen genişlikleri ve lif çeper kalınlıkları için ölçümler ve sayımlar yapılmıştır.Toprak örneklerinin; fiziksel (kum, toz, kil oranı) ve kimyasal (pH, elektriksel iletkenlik) özellikleri, toprak türü ve faydalanılabilir su kapasiteleri belirlenmiştir.Kayın taksonuna ait bireyler ve farklı yetişme koşulları için ayrı ayrı elde edilen ekolojik verilerle korelasyon analizi ve Independent Sample T testi yapılarak odun anatomisi farklılıklarının ortaya konulmasına çalışılmıştır.
