Dr. Hamza YILMAZ In this work it has been tried to obtain some manganese(III) complexes with some amino acids such as glycine, L-alanine, L-phenylalanine, L-histidin, L-tryptofan and L-threonin. To verify this, Schiff bases of the amino acids have been synthesized by the reaction of 2-hydroxy-l-napthaldehyde and tried to get their manganese(III) complexes with manganese(III) acetate. It was seen that the best results could be obtained by using Template method. The structure of the Schiff bases and the complexes were investigated by elemental analyses, IR, UV spectrophotometric, 1H-, 13C-NMR spectroscopic analyses and determination of magnetic susseptibility and TG-DTA. Dr. Hamza YILMAZ Bu çalışmada mangan(III) asetatın glisin, L-alanin, L-fenilalanin, L-histidin, L-triptofan ve L-threonin gibi bazı amino asitlerle kompleksleri hazırlanmaya çalışıldı. Bunun için amino asitlerin 2-hidroksi-l-naftaldehit ile Schiff bazları sentezlendi ve bu Schiff bazı ligandlanyla mangan(III) kompleksleri elde edilmek istendi. Komplekslerin sentezinde en iyi sonuç Template yöntemi ile alındı. Sentezlenen Schiff bazlarının ve komplekslerinin yapılan element analizi, İR, UV spektrofotometrik, 1H-, 13C-NMR spektroskopik analiz yöntemleri, magnetik süsseptibilite ve TG-DTA ölçümleri ile aydınlatıldı.
