Arts of Ornamentaion in Meaning in The QuranRhetoric is the art of giving a talk with appropriate statements to the rigt people, at the right place, at the right time. The science of Rhetoric (belagat) is comprised of three main disciplnes; Beyan, Meani and Bedi. Ornamentation (Ilm al-badi), the third of the disciplines, itself is a lore which involves literary arts and it is divided into two parts; the art of wording and the art of meaning. In this study, the arts related to ornamentation science in the arabic language, one of the most rooted languages of the world, are analyzed based on The Quran. These arts are the most studied arts since the initial periods. This is because, for a full comprehension of the arabic text, it is necessary to identify and understand the rhetoric arts used in the text.Additionally, in this study, the issue of confusion in terminology in the ornamentation science is adressed for a solution by classifying the ornamental arts under sixteen main titles. Those arts with similar meanings or those arts named differently but having the same menaing are classified together. Based on this method, under the main title of murâ`âtu?n-na?îr, the arts of i?tilâf, tenâsub, munâsebet, tevfî?, telfî?, muâ?ât, teşâbuhu?l-e?râf, i?tilafu?l-fâ?ıla and tenâsubu?l-e?râf, that are dealing with the text harmony , are discussed.Tables in the appendix part of the study shows the verses of The Quran that are (some representatives of) the arts of tevriye, isti?dâm, muşâkele, mubâlağa, el-istifhâmu?l-belâ?î, el-me?hebu?l-kelâmî, ?ıbâ?,mu?âbele, iltifat, isti?rât, lef?f-u neşr, murâ`âtu?n-na?îr, el-?avlu bi?l-mûcib, el-uslûbu?l-?akîm, te?kîdu?l-med?, te?kîdu??-?em, idmâc ve istitbâ`. These tables clearly shows that The Quran, although it is not an art book, utilizes art significantly by exploiting various wording styles. Additionally, this study, in general, shows that the number of different arts used in The Quran is at least as the number of verses in The Quran. And it is made obvious by this study that, conisdering the meaning, application of these arts in the verses contributes to the fascination and the profoundness of The Quran.

Bu bağlamda murâ`âtu'n-nazîr başlığı altında metin uyumunun gözetildiği i'tilâf, tenâsub, munâsebet, tevfîk, telfîk, muâhât, teşâbuhu'l-etrâf, i'tilafu'l-fâsıla tenâsubu'l-etrâf sanatlarına yer verilmiştir.Çalışmanın ekler bölümünde verilen tablolarda tevriye, istihdâm, muşâkele, mubâlağa, el-istifhâmu'l-belâğî, el-mezhebu'l-kelâmî, tıbâk,mukâbele, iltifat, isti?rât, lef'f-u neşr, murâ`âtu'n-nazîr, el-kavlu bi'l-mûcib, el-uslûbu'l-hakîm, te'kîdu'l-medh, te'kîdu'z-zem, idmâc ve istitbâ` sanatlarının Kur'ân'daki âyetleri çıkarılmıştır.
