Abstract

In this study, it is aimed to determine the factors that affect the GSM operator preferences of costumers. For this purpose, 411 questionnaires were conducted by interviewing face to face with customers. The data obtained from the research were analyzed by using SPSS program, factor analysis, reliability, independent groups t test, one way anova and chi square tests. 40.9% female and 59.1% male constitutes the research participants. In addition, 80.5% of the participants have already subscribed to one of the GSM call tariffs. In the factor analysis conducted in the study, variables were collected under 3 factors; `Customer satisfaction and service, `Product features` and` External environment.` Also, the relationship between the GSM operator and income, and the relationship between the tariff currently used and former GSM tariff were examined by using chi-square test. As a result, it is determined that there are relationships between all three variables (income, current tariff used, GSM operator used before).

Bu çalışmada tüketicilerin GSM operatörü tercihlerinde etkili olan faktörlerin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla kullanıcılarla yüz yüze görüşülerek 411 Anket yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen veriler SPSS programı kullanılarak faktör analizi, güvenirlik analizi, bağımsız gruplar t testi, one way anova testi, ki kare testleri yapılarak sonuçlar yorumlanmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre katılımcıların % 40,9'u kadın, %59,1'i erkeklerden oluşmaktadır. Bununla birlikte katılımcıların % 80,5'nin hali hazırda GSM arama tarifelerinden birine abone oldukları belirlenmiştir. Araştırmada yapılan faktör analizinde değişkenler 3 faktör altında toplanmıştır. Faktörler; `Müşteri memnuniyeti ve hizmet`, `Ürün özellikleri`, `Dış çevre` şeklinde isimlendirilmiştir. Ayrıca çalışmada katılımcıların kullandıkları GSM operatörü ile cinsiyet, yaş, eğitim ve gelir arasındaki ilişkiler ki kare testi ile incelenmiştir. Ki kare testleri sonucunda gelir dışında diğer değişkenler anlamlı bulunmamıştır.
