Abstract

In this study, airborne pollen distribution in the city of Manisa was investigated volumetrically from 01 February 2014 to 31 January 2015 using Lanzoni VPPS 2010. During the study period daily, monthly and annualy distribution of obtained pollen were identified and the relations with the meteorological factors were investigated. During two years-studying period a total of 17.201 pollen grains/m³ which belonged to 46 taxa were observed. Out of these, 30 taxa belonged to the arboreal and 16 taxa to the non-arboreal taxa. In the first year of research, 8.080 pollen grains/m³, in the second year of research 9.121 pollen grains/m³ were recorded. Total pollen grains consist of 72.36% arboreal, 13.16% Poaceae, 12.82% other non-arboreal plants and 1.66% unidentified pollen grains. Dominating taxa in the arboreal plants followed the trend as; Quercus spp. (19.02%), Pinaceae (17.24%), Olea europaea (15.57%), Cupressaceae/Taxaceae (7.80%), Platanus orientalis (2.51%), Casuarina equisetifolia (1.32%), Morus spp. (1.20%) and for non-arboreal representatives these were Poaceae (13.16%), Urticaceae (2.08%), Chenopodiaceae/Amaranthaceae (2.06%), Plantago spp. (1.97%), Rumex spp. (1.34%), Asteraceae (1.18%), Apiaceae (1.01%).

Bu çalışmada Manisa ili atmosferik polen dağılımı 01 Şubat 2014 - 31 Ocak 2016 tarihleri arasında Lanzoni VPPS 2010 cihazı kullanılarak volumetik yöntemle araştırılmıştır. Çalışma süresince elde edilen polenlerin günlük, aylık ve yıllık dağılımları tespit edilmiş ve meteorolojik faktörlerle ilişkisi araştırılmıştır. İki yıllık çalışma süresince Manisa atmosferinde 46 taksona ait toplam 17.201 polen/m3 adet polen gözlemlenmiştir. Tanımlanan taksonlardan 30'u odunsu, 16'sı otsu taksonlara aittir. Çalışmanın ilk yılında 8.080 polen/m3 adet polen, ikinci yılında 9.121 polen/m3 adet polen tespit edilmiştir. Toplam polen sayısının %72.36'sını odunsu taksonlar, %13.16'sını Poaceae, %12.82'sini diğer otsu taksonlar ve %1.66'sını tanımlanamayan polenler oluşturmuştur. Atmosferde polenleri baskın olarak görülen odunsu taksonlar sırasıyla Quercus spp. (%19.02), Pinaceae (%17.24), Olea europaea (%15.57), Cupressaceae/Taxaceae (%7.80), Platanus orientalis (%2.51), Casuarina equisetifolia (%1.32), Morus spp. (%1.20), otsu taksonlar ise sırasıyla Poaceae (%13.16), Urticaceae (%2.08), Chenopodiaceae/Amaranthaceae (%2.06), Plantago spp. (%1.97), Rumex spp. (%1.34), Asteraceae (%1.18), Apiaceae (%1.01)'dir.
