Abstract

The steel which is used mainly in the world, is especially increasing the use in multi-storey buildings such as industrial buildings and housing in our country. Steel is more useful in our country's construction sector and it caused the need of the benefit from technology for analysis, design and application. Nowadays due to the increasing importance of the concept of time, the technology to be included in the design and production sites, it has been great developments in the field of computer aided design. In this study, providing the opportunity to use AutoCAD in many fields except the construction industry with Tekla (Xsteel) developed for the concrete and steel structure design are compared program. A hangar structure chosen as the steel structure, this hangar project designed using Turkish standards such as TS498 (Design Loads for Buildings), TS648 (Building Code for Steel Structures). This project drawing on both programs were compared. As a result of this comparison, Tekla was determined to be more useful in the steel structures design and analysis.

Dünyada ağırlıklı olarak kullanılmakta olan çeliğin, ülkemizde özellikle endüstri yapıları ve konutlar gibi çok katlı yapılarda kullanımı artmaktadır. Ülkemiz yapı sektöründe, çeliğin daha fazla kullanılır hale gelmesi analiz, tasarım ve uygulamada teknolojiden faydalanma gerekliliğini ortaya çıkarmaktadır. Günümüzde zaman kavramının öneminin artması nedeniyle, teknolojinin tasarım ve üretim sahasına da girişiyle bilgisayar destekli tasarım alanında büyük ilerlemeler olmuştur. Bu çalışmada, inşaat sektörü dışında birçok alanda kullanım imkânı sağlayan AutoCAD programı ile betonarme ve çelik yapı tasarımı için geliştirilmiş Tekla (Xsteel) programı karşılaştırılmaktadır. Çelik yapı olarak bir hangar yapısı seçilmiş, bu hangar projesinin tasarımında TS498 Yapı Elemanlarının Boyutlandırılmasında Alınacak Yükler ile TS648 Çelik Yapıların Hesap ve Yapım Kuralları gibi Türk standartları kullanılmıştır. Bu proje her iki programda çizilerek, karşılaştırma yapılmıştır. Bu karşılaştırma sonucunda, Tekla programının çelik yapıların tasarım ve analizinde daha kullanışlı olduğu belirlenmiştir.
