The main purpose of this research is to identify the individual learning styles of the students attending the pedagogic formation training, on the basis of Kolb's Learning Styles. In the light of the mentioned purpose, the subordinate objects are to provide evidence whether there are any differences between the students' learning styles, according to their (1) professions they have been graduated from and (2) gender differences, or not. This research has been conducted as a descriptive type and general screening model. Using the Kolb's Learning Style Scale, the research data is derived from a randomly selected group which involves 165 students out of 350 students who attend Pedagogic Formation Training Certificate Course effectuated by Cukurova University Education Faculty, during 2012-2013 academic year. The accessed data is analyzed using SPSS programme. In comparison of some of the conducted data, frequency (f), percentage (%) assets have been evaluated; however, analyzing the assessments on the subject have been evaluated t-test, and for the situations of which the distributions are not normal, Kruskal Wallis-H test which is a hipothesis test have been carried out. Moreover, for the situaions in which the Kruskal Wallis-H test has meaningful differences Mann Whitney `U` test has been applied.As a result of this research, the students learning styles do not vary on the basis of their genders, whereas a significant differences have been observed according to the professions they are graduated from.

Bu araştırmanın genel amacı, Pedagojik Formasyon Sertifika Programına devam eden öğrencilerin bireysel öğrenme biçimlerinin nasıl olduğunun Kolb?un Öğrenme Stilleri Sınıflaması temelinde belirlemektir. Bu genel amaç temelinde araştırmanın alt amaçları olarak; (1) öğrencilerin mezun oldukları alanlarına ve (2) cinsiyetlerine göre bireysel öğrenme biçimlerinde farklılık olup olmadığı belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırma betimsel türde ve genel tarama modelinde bir çalışmadır. Araştırmanın verileri Ç.Ü. Eğitim Fakültesi tarafından 2012-2013 eğitim-öğretim yılında açılan Pedagojik Formasyon Sertifika Programına devam eden 350 öğrenciden tesadüfi küme örnekleme yöntemiyle seçilen 165 öğrenciye uygulanan Kolb'un Öğrenme Stilleri Ölçeğiyle (Envanteriyle) elde edilmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen veriler SPSS paket programı kullanılarak çözümlenmiştir. Ölçekten elde edilen verilerin bazılarının karşılaştırılmasında, frekans (f), yüzde (%) değerleri hesaplanmış, ancak konuyla ilgili düşüncelerin analizinde t-testi ve Dağılımların normal olmadığı durumlarda hipotez testi olarak Kruskal Wallis-H testi kullanılmıştır. Kruskal Wallis-H testinde anlamlı farklılığın çıktığı durumlarda ikili karşılaştırmalar için ise Mann Whitney `U` testi kullanılmıştır.Araştırma sonucunda, öğrencilerin öğrenme biçimlerinin cinsiyetlerine göre değişmediği, ancak öğrencilerin mezun oldukları bölümlere göre değiştiği belirlenmiştir.
