The aim of this study is teaching Turkish to foreigners in the Arabic region based on Arabic-Turkish common words activities to determine how they affect students' success. Research covers all Arab countries. Research was conducted in Turkish Cultural Center in Cairo.Date of the first foreigners to study teaching Turkish, Turkish history in Egypt, Turkish departments and branches in Egypt, the information about the state of education carried out in this chapter and branch offices are included. Bu çalışmanın amacı Arap coğrafyasındaki yabancılara Türkçe öğretirken Arapça-Türkçe ortak kelimelere dayalı etkinliklerin öğrencilerin başarısını nasıl etkilediğini belirlemektir. Çalışmanın evrenini Arap coğrafyası, örneklemini ise Kahire Türk Kültür Merkezi oluşturmaktadır.Çalışmada öncelikle yabancılara Türkçe öğretiminin tarihi, Mısır'daki Türk tarihi, Mısır'da bulunan Türkoloji bölüm ve şubeleri, bu bölüm ve şubelerde gerçekleştirilen eğitim şekli hakkında bilgilere yer verilmiştir. Bu bilgilerden sonra çalışmanın asıl kısmını oluşturan etkinlikler yer almaktadır.Etkinlikler, konunun nasıl anlatılacağını gösteren yönergelerden ve Arapça-Türkçe ortak kelimelerden oluşan örneklerden meydana gelmektedir.Etkinliklerde kullanılan Arapça-Türkçe ortak kelimelerin günlük hayatta sıkça kullanılan ve A1 seviyesine uygun olanlarından seçilmesine özellikle dikkat edilmiştir. Etkinliklerin sınıf ortamında uygulanması sırasında Avrupa Dilleri Ortak Çerçeve Metninde belirtilen A1 seviyesi 2 ayrı gruba bölünmüştür. Avrupa Dilleri Ortak Çerçeve Metninde A1 seviyesi 144 saatlik bir dersi gerektirmektedir. Bu 144 saatlik dilim A1-1 ve A1-2 gruplarına bölünerek 72 saat boyunca bağımlı değişken grubu Arapça-Türkçe ortak kelimelerin yer aldığı etkinlikler ile desteklenmiştir. Bağımsız değişken grubu ise çalışmamız açısından önem arz eden etkinliklerle buluşturulmamıştır.72'şer saatlik ders sonucunda bağımsız değişken grubu ile bağımlı değişken grubu arasındaki farkın tespiti Yunus Emre Enstitüsü tarafından özenle hazırlanmış kur ve sertifika sınavları ile belirlenmiştir.
