The aim of this study is to investigate whether there is a relationship between work stress and self efficacy and political skill in public employees. The research was carried out with the data obtained from 212 employees consisting of experts and assistant experts working in a public institution. In the research, firstly the theoretical framework and then the findings and conclusions are given. The data obtained from the questionnaires were analyzed with SPSS 20 program. According to the results of t-Test and ANOVA analysis, significant results were obtained between the groups according to the variables of work stress and age, education and title. In the correlation analysis, it was seen that there was a positive relationship between work stress and organizational tenure, albeit low. According to the results of t-Test analysis, a significant difference was found between the groups in self efficacy and education variable. According to the results of t-Test and ANOVA analysis, no significant differences were found between the groups in terms of political skill and demographic variables. However, in the correlation analysis, a positive correlation was found between the political skill and organizational tenure, albeit low. In the correlation analysis between the research variables; there was no relationship between self efficacy and political skill with work stress. A moderate positive relationship was found between self-efficacy and political skill. In the results part of the study, the findings of this study were compared with the previous studies, the research was evaluated and recommendations were presented for future researches.

Bu çalışmanın amacı, kamu çalışanlarında iş stresi ile öz yeterlilik ve politik yeti arasında bir ilişkinin olup olmadığının araştırılmasıdır. Araştırma, bir kamu kurumunda görev yapmakta olan uzman ve uzman yardımcılarından oluşan 212 çalışandan elde edilen veriler ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada öncelikle kuramsal çerçeveye, daha sonra da uygulama kısmında bulgular ve sonuç kısmına yer verilmiştir. Anketlerden elde edilen veriler SPSS 20 programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan t-Testi ve ANOVA analizlerinin sonuçlarına göre iş stresi ile yaş, eğitim ve unvan değişkenlerine göre gruplar arasında anlamlı sonuçlar elde edilmiştir. Korelasyon analizinde de iş stresi ile kurumda çalışma süresinin düşük de olsa pozitif yönlü bir ilişki içerisinde olduğu görülmüştür. t-Testi analizi sonucuna göre öz yeterlilik ile eğitim değişkeninde de gruplar arasında anlamlı bir farklılık tespit edilmiştir. t-Testi ve ANOVA analizlerinin sonuçlarına göre politik yeti ile demografik değişkenlerde gruplar arasında anlamlı farklılıklar tespit edilememiştir. Ancak yapılan korelasyon analizinde politik yeti ile kurumda çalışma süresi değişkeni arasında düşük de olsa pozitif yönlü bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Araştırma değişkenleri arasında yapılan korelasyon analizinde; öz yeterlilik ve politik yetinin iş stresi ile bir ilişkisi tespit edilememiştir. Öz yeterlilik ile politik yeti arasında ise orta düzeyde pozitif yönlü bir ilişki tespit edilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonuç kısmında daha önce yapılan çalışmalar ile bu çalışmanın bulguları karşılaştırılmış, araştırma değerlendirilmiş ve gelecek araştırmalar için öneriler sunulmuştur.
