In this study, 84 students at 3rd class who were taking the Science Teaching Laboratory Practise-1 lesson in the Kırıkkale University Faculty of Education of Science Education Program were compared and examined on science process skills with science laboratory application and simulation aided science laboratory applications both based on 7E instruction model. Sequential explanatory design was used as a mixed method strategy in this study.While pretest-posttest control group quasi-experimental method was used in the quantitative aspects of the research, documentation analysis method was used in qualitative aspects of the research.Night class students have been identified as the experimental group and day class students have been identified as the control group because research group couldn't be randomly divided into two groups (experimental and control). Both the experimental and the control group consist of 42 people. After Science Process Skills Test was applied to both groups as pre-test, lessons maintained for 6 weeks on simulation aided science laboratory applications based on 7e instruction model in the experimental group and science laboratory applications based on 7E instruction model in the control group.In the quantitative method of the research, pre-test results of experimental and control groups were evaluated via the dependent t-test and a significant difference in favor of the control group in pre-tests was found. As sample of study weren't divided into two groups (experimental and control) randomly, this study was considered as quasi-experimental in design, therefore the difference in favor of the control group can be accepted.When the research results were analyzed, it was observed that the experimental group with a lower level in terms of pre-test and the control group had close averages.In the qualitative methods of the research, hypothesize, variant identification, estimation and inference skills of the scientific process skills were scored and plotted separately for experimental and control groups. Data at this stage of the study were collected from the reports, written by the students during the experimental activities, with the help of hypothesis-variable determination and estimate-inference rubric. From the conducted research, it can be concluded that simulation aided 7E teaching model is more effective than only 7E teaching model in terms of hypothesize, variable identification, estimation and inference skills.In all analysis, it can be said that the simulation-aided teaching model when compared to only 7E teaching model has provided a significant contribution to students' learning model based on science process skills.

Bu çalışmada Kırıkkale Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Fen Bilgisi Öğretmenliği Programında öğrenim gören 84 üniversite 3.sınıf öğrencisi, Fen Öğretimi Laboratuvar Uygulamaları-1 dersi bünyesinde bilimsel süreç becerileri kapsamında; simülasyon destekli 7E öğretim modeline dayalı laboratuvar ve 7E öğretim modeline dayalı laboratuvar yöntemiyle karşılaştırılarak incelenmiştir. Böylelikle 7E öğretim modeli üzerine simülasyon destekli uygulamaların etkisi test edilmiştir. Bu etkinin incelenmesi için araştırmada karma yöntem araştırma desenlerinden, açımlayıcı sıralı yöntem kullanılmıştır. Yapılan araştırmanın nicel boyutunda öntest-sontest kontrol gruplu yarı deneysel yöntem, nitel araştırma boyutunda ise dökümantasyon analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada çalışma grubu rastgele iki gruba (deney ve kontrol) ayrılamadığından II. öğretim öğrencileri deney grubu, I. öğretim öğrencileri ise kontrol grubu olarak belirlenmiştir. Deney ve kontrol grubu 42'şer kişiden oluşmaktadır. Her iki gruba Bilimsel Süreç Beceri Testi (BSBT)-ön test uygulandıktan sonra dersler, deney grubunda, 7E öğretim modeline dayalı simülasyon destekli laboratuvar uygulamaları yöntemi ile kontrol grubunda ise 7E Öğretim modeline dayalı laboratuvar uygulamaları yöntemi ile 6 hafta sürdürülmüştür. Araştırmanın nicel boyutunda deney ve kontrol grupları ön-test sonuçları Bağımlı t-testi ile değerlendirilmiş ve grupların ön testleri arasında kontrol grubu lehine anlamlı bir fark bulunmuştur. Çalışma, deney ve kontrol gruplarının rastgele oluşturulamaması bakımından yarı deneysel olarak nitelendirilmiştir, bu bakımdan kontrol grubunun lehine olan fark kabul edilebilirdir.Araştırma sonucu incelendiğinde ön testleri bakımından daha düşük seviyede olan deney grubunun, uygulama sonrasında, kontrol grubu ile yakın ortalamalara sahip olduğu gözlemlenmiştir.Araştırmanın nitel boyutunda ise bilimsel süreç becerilerinden hipotez kurma, değişken belirleme, tahmin ve sonuç çıkarma becerisi deney ve kontrol grubu için ayrı ayrı puanlanmış ve grafiklendirilmiştir. Yapılan çalışmanın bu aşamasında veriler; öğrencilerin deneysel etkinlikler süresince hazırladıkları raporlar üzerinden geliştirilen, Hipotez ve Değişken Belirleme Rubriği ile Tahmin ve Sonuç Çıkarma Rubriği yardımı ile toplanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda simülasyon destekli 7E öğretim modelinin hipotez kurma, değişken belirleme, sonuç çıkarma becerisi üzerinde daha etkili, tahmin etme becerisi üzerinde ise yalnız 7E öğretim modeliyle yakın etkiye sahip olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. Tüm analiz sonucunda, simülasyon destekli 7E öğretim modelinin, öğrencilerin bilimsel süreç becerilerine anlamlı bir katkı sağladığı söylenebilir.
