Abstract

As basis for the development of a sensitive analytical method for the determination of the insecticide alanycarb, a study of the differential pulse polarographic (DPP) reduction of alanycarb [(ethyl(Z)?N?benzyl?N-[[methyl(1-methyl thioethylideneaminooxycarbonyl) amino] thio ]?ß?alaninate)] on a dropping mercury electrode (DME) was performed. The insecticide was found to give a single DP peak over the pH range 1,0 to 6,0 and the pH dependency of the peak potential showed a linear segment with a slope of 65,2 mV/pH. For the analytical DPP method running at pH 6,0 (peak at ?503,6 mV), the relationship between the peak current and alanycarb concentration was linear in the range of 1,10 to 9,76 mg mL? 1 with a detection limit of 0,33 mg mL-1. The proposed method was applied for the determination of alanycarb in spiked dam water and orange juice samples. The recoveries calculated for both types of dam water and orange juice samples spiked with 12,0 mg mL-1 alanycarb were 96,7 and 99,2 % with relative standard deviations of 5,2 and 1,7%, respectively. The sufficiently good recoveries and low relative standard deviations for the data reflect the high accuracy and precision of the proposed differential pulse polarographic method. The effects of diverse metal ions and other commonly used pesticides on the determination of alanycarb were also investigated.

Alanikarb [(etil(Z)?N?benzil?N-[[metil(1-metil tiyoetiliden amino oksikarbonil) amino] tiyo]?ß?alaninat)] insektisitinin tayini için duyarlı bir analitik metot geliştirmek üzere, damlayan cıva elektrotu (DCE) kullanılarak, diferansiyel puls polarografik (DPP) indirgenmesi incelendi. Bu insektisitin pH 1,0 ? 6,0 arasında tek bir DP indirgenme piki verdiği gözlendi. Pik potansiyelinin pH ile değişimi incelendiğinde, eğimi 65,2 mV/pH olan doğrusal bir bağıntı elde edilmiştir. pH 6,0'da gözlenen -503,6 mV'deki pik akımı alanikarb derişimi ile 1,10 ? 9,76 mg mL-1 arasında doğrusallık göstermektedir. Gözlenebilme sınırı 0,33 mg mL-1'dir. Geliştirilen bu metot alanikarb ilave edilen baraj suyu ve portakal suyu numunelerine uygulanmıştır. 12,0 mg mL-1 alanikarb ilave edilen baraj suyu ve portakal suyu numunelerinde hesaplanan geri kazanımlar sırasıyla % 96,7 ve % 99,2 bulunmuştur. Bu uygulamalarda bağıl standart sapma sırası ile % 5,2 ve % 1,7'dir. Elde edilen yüksek geri kazanım ve düşük bağıl standart sapmalar, bu insektisit için geliştirilen diferansiyel puls polarografisi yönteminin doğruluğunun ve kesinliğinin oldukça iyi olduğunu göstermektedir. Alanikarb tayinine girişim etkisi yapabilecek bazı metal iyonlarının ve yaygın olarak kullanılan bazı pestisitlerin etkileri de incelenmiş ve geri kazanım değerleri hesaplanmıştır.
