Study area locate north of Izmir Bay between Eastern longitude 507500-494000 and north latitude coordinates 4264000-4258000 (WGS84 UTM 6 degrees) in the province of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality.338 boreholes drilled in the region and their logs were evaluated in terms of the engineering geological aspect in this work. 3D model was created RockWorks 15 using the program lithological map and geotechnical soil at different depths of the vertical cross-sections were prepared.Samples taken from boreholes in the study area, 86 uniaxial compression tests, 97 triaxial compression tests (UU) and 60 direct shear tests results are evaluated. The results of the test and standard penetration test (SPT), the correlation coefficient between the (R) in the form of higher ones chose to investigate the relation between the parameters studied statistically. Bearing capacity was determined using the statistical relationships and SPT values. Seismic velocities are compared with the value of the bearing capacity of the soil. Soils are classifed using the laboratory test results. The degree of the ground plasticity, viscosity and swelling potential was determined. Compressibility maps were created for fine-grained soils using the oedometer test results. Liquefaction potential of the area was assessed for coarse and fine grained soils at the point of each drilling. Liquefaction potential maps of the region is prepared by using regression equations, SPT and laboratory results.By the method of seismic refraction, seismic velocity, bearing capacity, soil amplification maps were prepared. Predominant period, soil group and local site classes maps was created with both the results of seismic refraction and microtremor.
