Main aim of this study is to analyze the competition which emerges both in the capital accumulation process and in the distribution process of total value generated in the cement sector. In this study, competition is analyzed by its two dimensions. First one is the competition in the production, realization and valorization processes of capital accumulation. Second one is the level of competition emerged in the accumulation process of total social capital. Consequently, by its two dimensions, competition determines the distribution of total value generated. In the sector, centralization tendency is quite strong by virtue of the competition emerged in capital accumulation process and the goal-oriented state interventions. Capitals have close compositions to each other at the regional level even though they seem like they show heterogeneous structure in terms of their scales. Hence, in consideration of its ability on getting into spatial circulation, it's clear that there is an existence of average composition in the sector. Competition generates a tendency to the equalization of general rate of profit among capitals at the regional level in this process. The practices such as regional price agreements and market shares among capitals directly show the existence of this tendency. Therefore, the ones that has no ability to produce with a close composition level to the sector average, will be vanquished or acquired by others. Today, it can be mentioned that there is an existence and maintainability of an oligopolistic structure. Sustainability and reproduction of this structure are provided by the competition process among capitals and state interventions, and by the distribution of total value between labor and capital which generated in the sector. From the point of capital's view, especially in the crisis periods, the low wages and flexible employment politics are the main mechanisms which determine the accumulation and total value distribution processes. In brief, this study focuses on the competition emerged both in the stages of capital accumulation and in the distribution of total value generated. Competition triggers the centralization tendency in the sector while it's triggered by the mechanism of capital accumulation. Thus, in this study, it is defended that the competition on relations at inter-capital and intra-capitals levels is the main reason of that distribution process develops against labor. Keywords: Monopolization, Competition, Distribution Relations, Labor, Capital.
