The aim of this study was to determine the references of value transfer in the texts in textbooks prepared to teach Turkish to the foreigners. The population of the work was the textbooks prepared to teach Turkish to the foreigners. The sample consisted of the Istanbul Turkish Launguage Textboks for the foreigners prepared by DILMER, Yeni Hitit Turkish Launguage Textboks for the foreigners prepared by Ankara University TOMER and Gazi TOMER Turkish Launguage Textboks for the foreigners preperad by Gazi University TOMER. The `Cultural Content Analysis Scale` developed by Byram (1993) was employed for data collection to analyze the cultural elements in the texts included in the textbooks after it was adapted to Turkish. The experts were asked to check the scale for validity and reliability and it was edited repording the suggestions of the experts. Qualitative data analysis techniques were used for document analysis in order to analyze the data obtained in the research. As a result of this analysis, 7318 value transfer references were idetified the books prepared to teach Turkish to foreigners. 18.2% of them were Social Positions and Social Group, 21.3% were Social Interactions, 6.4% were Beliefs and Behaviors, 7.4% were Social Institutions, 32.9% were Socialization and Life , 1.3% National History, 6.9% National Geography, 5.5% related to the dimensions of Cliches and National Identity. As a result of the research, it was also found that the Turkish textbooks prepared for the foreigners did not show a balanced distribution related to the levels of the values transfer reference. With respect to, the book containing the maximum value transfer reference was Turkish C1 + Level for the Foreigners, while the book containing the minimum value transfer reference was Istanbul B2 level.

Bu çalışmanın amacı yabancılara Türkçe öğretmek için hazırlanan ders kitaplarında yer alan metinlerdeki değer aktarımı referanslarını tespit etmektir. Çalışmanın evreni, yabancılara Türkçe öğretmek amacıyla hazırlanan ders kitaplarıdır. Örneklemi ise İstanbul Üniversitesi DİLMER'in İstanbul Yabancılar İçin Türkçe Ders Kitapları, Ankara Üniversitesi TÖMER'in Yeni Hitit Yabancılar İçin Türkçe Ders Kitapları ve Gazi Üniversitesi TÖMER'in Yabancılar İçin Türkçe Ders Kitapları'ndan oluşmaktadır. Çalışmada veri toplama aracı olarak Byram'ın (1993) ders kitaplarında yer alan metinlerdeki kültürel unsurların çözümlemesini yapmak amacıyla geliştirdiği `Kültürel İçerik Çözümlemesi Ölçeği` Türkçeye uyarlanarak kullanılmıştır. Geçerlik ve güvenirlik için uzman görüşüne başvurulmuş ve uzmanlardan gelen öneriler doğrultusunda ölçeğe son şekli verilmiştir. Araştırmada ulaşılan verilerin analiz edilmesi amacıyla nitel veri analizi tekniklerinden doküman incelemesine başvurulmuştur. Yapılan inceleme sonucunda yabancılara Türkçe öğretmek amacıyla hazırlanan kitaplarda toplam 7318 değer aktarımı referansı tespit edilmiştir. Bunların % 18,2'si Toplumsal Konum ve Toplumsal Grup, % 21,3'ü Toplumsal Etkileşim, % 6,4'ü İnançlar ve Davranışlar, % 7,4'ü Toplumsal Kurumlar, % 32,9'u Toplumsallaşma ve Yaşam Döngüsü, % 1,3'ü Millî Tarih, % 6,9'u Millî Coğrafya % 5,5'i Klişeler ve Millî Kimlik boyutlarına ilişkindir. Araştırma sonucunda ayrıca yabancılar için hazırlanan Türkçe ders kitaplarında değer aktarımı referanslarının düzeylere göre dengeli bir dağılım göstermediği tespit edilmiştir. Buna göre en fazla değer aktarımı referansı içeren kitap İstanbul Yabancılar İçin Türkçe C1+ düzeyi iken, en az değer aktarımı referansı içeren kitap İstanbul B2 düzeyi olmuştur.
