Job satisfaction is one of the subjects to which a good deal of importance are attached by the managements of organisations. The major factor which affects employee and job satisfaction is managerial behaviour styles. In this study, the effect of managerial behaviour styles on employee satisfaction has been analyzed.The study consists of three chapters. In the first chapter the basic concepts, management approach and management philosophy make up items, according to the managerial behaviours management approach has been taken. In the second chapter job satisfaction, the factors affecting job satisfaction, job satisfaction and job dissatisfaction of the results discussed. In the third chapter in the study area of applied research of the analysis and evaluation are included.In the field research, it was examined the effect of manager?s behaviours on the job satisfaction that relating to participation management and decision-making process, communication and human relations, supervision, motivation and encouragement, deconcentration and autonomy issues and attitudes of the working environment and employee. The findings of the research about the manager's attitudes and behaviors that affect job satisfaction were identified significantly. The effect of demographic characteristics for the job satisfaction of employees in the analysis of significant difference between mean scores did not reveal.

Günümüzde verimlilik için örgüt yönetimleri tarafından en önem verilen konularından biri de iş doyumudur. İş doyumunu etkileyen temel faktörlerden biri de yönetsel davranış biçimleridir. Bu çalışmada yönetsel davranış biçimlerinin çalışan memnuniyeti üzerindeki etkisi incelenmiştir.Çalışma üç ana bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde temel kavramlar, yönetim anlayışları ve yönetim anlayışını oluşturan öğeler, yönetim anlayışlarına göre yönetsel davranış biçimleri ele alınmıştır. İkinci bölümde iş doyumu, iş doyumunu etkileyen faktörler, iş doyumu ve iş doyumsuzluğunun sonuçları irdelenmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde ise çalışma kapsamında İller Bankası'nda uygulanan alan araştırmasının analiz ve değerlendirmelerine yer verilmiştir.Alan araştırmasında yöneticinin işgörenleri yönetime ve karar alma süreçlerine dâhil etme, iletişim ve insan ilişkileri, denetim, güdüleme ve özendirme, yetki devri ve özdenetim vb. konulara ilişkin davranışları ile işgörene ve çalışma ortamına ilişkin tutumunun iş doyumuna etkisi irdelenmiştir. Araştırmanın bulguları yöneticinin söz konusu tutum ve davranışlarının tamamının iş doyumunu anlamlı düzeyde etkilediğini göstermiştir. Demografik özelliklerin iş doyumuna etkisine yönelik yapılan analizlerde ise araştırmaya katılan işgörenlerin puan ortalamaları arasında anlamlı düzeyde bir farklılık saptanmamıştır.
