Religious orders have taken a wide and respectable place in our society. One of the reasons that strengthen this respectability and effect is that the leaders of the religious orders claim that they come from the lineage of the prophet. And the religious orders have arranged lineages in order to support this case and document it. We aim at conveying the work `Silsiletü'n-Nur (The Light Lineage)` which is written in the Ottoman Language into our present Turkish language and is registered with no. 00153 in Lala Ismail section in Suleymaniye and evaluating the text. This work we have performed includes the translation of the internal language of the Sunbuliyye branch of the Khalwati religious order which has a wide place in the Turkish society and has information about the founder of this religious order in it. The content scope of the work we have studied is the Sheiks of Sunbuliyye between Sheik Cemal Halveti and the Master Nureddin. The work which is our subject has been also evaluated in terms of content, form, language and feature, verse which contains Hadith quotations and writing portraiture.
