Abstract

This research has been performed for examination of affect on belief and self efficiacy of preschool teachers about mathematics education on the math skills of 48-60 months old children. Three separate data collection tools were used in the study. The research was conducted under the two-scale adaptation, and the measurement tool for the self efficiacy of preschool teachers about mathematics education was developed by the researcher. The study population is 48-60 months children who are attend to an independent National Education Ministry nursery school of Ankara Province, Cankaya Town in 2012-2013 education year. The study aimed to reach all of the population. The research is sample of the screening research design because of the research aims examination of mathematics abilities of faith and competencies of preschool teachers for mathematics education on the math skills of children 48-60 months.

Araştırma okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin matematik eğitimi ile ilgili inanç ve özyeterliklerinin, 48-60 aylık çocukların matematik becerileri üzerindeki etkisinin incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmada üç ayrı veri toplama aracı kullanılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında iki ölçeğin uyarlama çalışması yapılmıştır, okul öncesi öğretmenlerin matematik eğitimi konusundaki özyeterliklerini ölçmeye yönelik ölçme aracı ise araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilmiştir.Araştırmanın evrenini 2012-2013 eğitim yılında Ankara il merkezi Çankaya ilçesinde bulunan Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı'na bağlı bağımsız anaokullarına devam eden 48-60 aylık çocuklar oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada evrenin tamamına ulaşılması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin matematik eğitimine yönelik inanç ve yeterliliklerinin 48-60 aylık çocukların matematik becerileri üzerine etkisinin incelenmesi amaçlandığından araştırma tarama araştırma desenine örnektir.Araştırma kapsamında.
