Abstract

The relationship between logistics and environment is one of the most important issues from the past to the present. The area of activity of the logistics sector, which has the most important place in the realization of commercial activities, can bring environmental problems together. ISO 14001 Environmental Management System is seen as an important factor in preventing environmental problems in the logistics sector and achieving a sustainable environmental environment. The aim of this study is to examine the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System in the logistics sector. In this context, the research consists of three parts. In the first part, the concept of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System is examined. ISO 14001 Environmental Management System definition, history, applications and information about the certification process is given. In the second part, the relationship between logistics concept and environment logistics is examined. The concept of logistics, logistics management, environment and logistics are examined. In the third chapter, general information is given on the application of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System in the logistics sector. In line with the information obtained in the literature, general information has been provided for the logistics sector.Keywords: Logistics, Environment, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.

Lojistik ve çevre ilişkisi geçmişten günümüze kadar olan dönemde oldukça önemli konulardan biridir. Ticari faaliyetlerin gerçekleşmesinde en önemli yere sahip olan lojistik sektörünün yoğun faaliyet alanı, çevresel sorunları da beraberinde getirebilmektedir. Lojistik sektöründe çevresel sorunların önlenmesi ve sürdürülebilir bir çevre ortamının yakalanmasında ise ISO 14001 Çevre Yönetim Sistemi önemli olarak görülmektedir. Bu araştırmanın amacı lojistik sektöründe ISO 14001 Çevre Yönetim Sisteminin incelenmesidir. Bu kapsamda araştırma üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde ISO 14001 Çevre Yönetim Sistemi kavramı incelenmiştir. ISO 14001 Çevre Yönetim Sistemi tanımı, tarihçesi, uygulamaları ve sertifikasyon süreci hakkında bilgilere yer verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde lojistik kavramı ve çevre lojistik ilişkisi incelenmiştir. Lojistik kavramı, lojistik yönetimi, çevre ve lojistik ilişkisi incelenmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde ISO 14001 Çevre Yönetim Sisteminin lojistik sektöründe uygulanmasına ilişkin olarak genel bilgilere yer verilmiştir. Literatür kapsamında elde edilen bilgiler doğrultusunda lojistik sektöründe yönelik olarak genel bilgilendirme yapılmıştır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Lojistik, Çevre, ISO 14001 Çevre Yönetim Sistemi.
