Abstract

CONJECTURE of I. N. HERSTEIN and GENERALIZED LIE IDEALS Öznur GÖLBAŞI Keywords: Derivation, Lie ideal, (a,T)-Lie ideal, generalized Lie ideal, invariant subrings Abstract: The plan followed in this work, which aims at the study of some paper which investigated commötativity conditions in prime rings with derivation have been summarized and some results that given for generalized Lie ideals. In chapter 1, the study has been told, some general information about studied subjects has been given in chapter 2. In chapter 3, some papers that search commutativity conditions on rings with derivation and studies about conjecture of I. N. Herstein have been summarized. Under the conditions R is a prime ring of characteristic not two, a and t are automorphisms of R, d is a nonzero derivation of R, U and M are nonzero (<y,T)-left Lie ideal and left ideal of R, the following results have been provided: i) If (d(R ), a)=0 then d(a)=0. ii) If d(Z)*(0) and (d(R ), a)cZ then aeZ. iii) If (d(M ), a)=0 then d(a)=0. iv) If [d(R ), a]ff,x=0 then a(a)4r(a) eZ. v) If d([R, a]ff>T)=0 then a(a)+i;(a) eZ. vi) If (R, a)<T>TcCCTjT then aeZ. vii) If (U, R)ff)TcCff;T then UcZ. In chapter 5, if U (a,t)-left Lie ideal, crd=dcr, xd=dx and d2(U)=0 then a(u)+i;(u)eZ, VueU has been proved and some results have been given for generalized Lie ideals. In chapter 6, conjecture that given by I. N. Herstein for prime rings, has been shown that true under the special condition..

I. N. HERSTEIN'ın BİR TAHMİNİ ve GENELLEŞTİRİLMİŞ LİE İDEALLLER Öznur GÖLBAŞI Anahtar Kelimeler: Türev, Lie ideal, (a,x)-Lie ideal, genelleştirilmiş Lie ideal, invariant alt halkalar. Özet: Türevli asal halkalarda bazı komütatiflik koşullarını inceleyen makalelerin bir arada özetlenerek genelleştirilmiş Lie idealler için bazı sonuçların bulunmasını amaçlayan bu çalışmada aşağıdaki yol izlenmiştir. 1. Bölümde çalışma tanıtılmış, 2. Bölümde çalışılan konularla ilgili temel bilgiler verilmiştir. 3. Bölümde türevli asal halkalarda komütatiflik koşullarım inceleyen bazı makaleler ve I. N. Herstein'in bir tahminiyle ilgili çalışmalar özetlenmiştir. Bölümde aşağıdaki sonuçlar elde edilmiştir. i) (d(R),a)=0 ised(a)=0. ii) d(Z>(0) ve (d(R ), a)c=Z ise aeZ. iii) (d(M ), a)=0 ise d(a)=0. iv) [d(R ), a]c>T=0 ise a(a)+?(a) eZ. v) d([R, a]CT>T)=0 ise (j(a)-h:(a) eZ. vi) (R, a)0jTcCCT)T ise aeZ. vii) (U, R)c,TcCCT>T ise UcZ. 5. Bölümde ise ad=dcr, xd=dT ve d2(U)=0 iken a(u)+r(u)eZ, VueU olduğu (a,x)-sol Lie ideal için ispatlanarak, genelleştirilmiş Lie idealler için bazı sonuçlar verilmiştir. 6. Bölümde de I. N. Herstein'in asal halkalar için vermiş olduğu bir tahrninin özel bir koşul altında doğru olduğu gösterilmiştir.
