The Physıcal and Physıcalogıcal Parameter Comparısons Of Male Handball and Basketball Players Of Ondokuz Mayıs UniversitySUMMARYThis research has been done on 22 male players who have been educated in 19 Mayıs University during the teaching year 1996-1997 .10 of these players are handball players and the others are basketball players. The basketball team was in the first and the the handball team was in the second division.The aim of this study is to indicate the physical and physiological parameters of the teams and to compare these parameters to find out the differences.Standardized field and laboratory test were used to determine the subjects physical and physiological profiles. Evaluating the subject groups and comparing the variables, Marn-Whitnex U test and windiws were used for SPSS program defined statistics.İn the study the differences by means of satistical point of view have been found among the parameters of height, weight, heart rate, diastolic blood pressure, anaerobic power, speed, flexibility and the right hand grip of the basketball and handballplayers(P<.05).The other parameters which have been measured, when compared by means of statistics, there have been no differences amongs age, sistolic blood pressure, verticale jump, aerobic power, percentage body fate, 30 second shuttle, left hand grip and cooper of the subject groups(P>.05).The research results suggest that there were similarites between the findings and caracteristically specialties of the basketball and handball players. It has been seen that some of the measurements were similar to the measurements which are given in literature where as some of them were low.Key Words: Hantball players, Basketball players, physical and physiological parametres.

Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesi Erkek Hentbol ve Basketbol Takımlarında yer Alan Oyuncuların Fiziksel ve Fizyolojik Parametrelerinin KarşılaştırılmasıÖZETBu 1996-97 öğretim yılında Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesinde öğrenim gören 22 erkek sporcu üzerinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu oyuncuların 12'si basketbolcu, 10'u da Hentbolcudur. Basketbol takımı 1. ligde, hentbol takımı ise 2. ligde yer almaktadır.Çalışmada bu takımların fiziki ve fizyolojik parametrelerinin belirlenmesi ve bu parametrelerin karşılaştırılarak faklılıkların belirlenmesi amaçlanmaktadır.Çalışmada standart alan ve laboratuar testleri deneklerin fiziksel ve fizyolojik profillerinin belirlenmesi için uygulanmıştır. Denek gruplarını değerlendirmede ve değişkenleri karşılaştırmada, windows için SPSS programında tanımlayıcı istatistik ve Mann-Whitney U testi uygulanmıştır.Araştırma grubundaki basketbol ve hentbol oyuncularının; boy, ağırlık, kalp atım sayısı, diastolik kan basıncı, anaerobik güç, sürat, esneklik ve sağ el pençe kuvveti parametreleri arasında istatistiksel açıdan fark anlamlı bulunmuştur (P<.05).Ölçümü yapılan diğer parametrelerde istatistiksel yönden karşılaştırıldığında yaş, sistolik kan basıncı, dikey sıçrama, aerobik güç, vücut yağ yüzdesi, 30 sn. mekik, sol el pençe kuvveti ve cooper arasında anlamlı bir farklılığa rastlanmamıştır(P>.05).Bu araştırmanın sonucunda araştırma grubunu oluşturan hentbol ve basketbolcuların spor dallarının karakteristik özellileri ile bulgular arasında benzerlik olduğu görülmüştür. Literatürde verilmiş olan sporcuların değerlerine göre ise araştırma grubundaki takımların değerlerinin bazıları yeterli görülürken, bazı değerler literatüre göre düşük kalmıştır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Hentbolcu, Basketbolcu, fiziksel ve fizyolojik parametre.
