 In this study, design and parametric optimization of the field operating conditions of thick-walled cylinder used in the EM1600 inclined shear was achieved. Three-dimensional solid model of thick-walled cylinder which was designed and simplified in SolidWorks software, was transferred to ANSYS software for finite element analysis. The analysis of thick-walled cylinder was achieved according to the temperature and pressure parameters of inclined shear in plants. As a result of the analysis, radial, axial and hoop stresses and total deformation results in thick-walled cylinder were obtained. To calculate elastic behaviour of the cylinder, von Mises equivalent stress was additionally calculated using these three stresses. In this study, the temperature and pressure parameters of hydraulic oil employed in cylinder of inclined shear were selected as input parameters. In addition, total deformation, von Mises equivalent stress, and cutting force supplied by inclined shear cylinder were defined as output parameters. With the use of these parameters, a multi-objective optimization was performed in ANSYS with the help of Parametric Correlation. Total deformation and von Mises equivalent stress were defined as the constraints and the minimum values of these parameters were requested. Conversely, shear force was chosen as the target, and the maximum force value was requested. Optimum temperature was yielded as 42.94 oC, and optimum pressure was yielded as 34.73 MPa for maximum shear force: 7.9 x 106 N within the specified limits.

 Bu çalışmada EM1600 eğik makasta kullanılan kalın duvarlı kesme silindirinin sahadaki çalışma koşullarının tasarımı ve parametrik optimizasyonu gerçekleştirilmiştir. SolidWorks yazılımında tasarımı yapılan eğik makasın kesme silindirinin üç boyutlu katı modeli basitleştirilerek sonlu elemanlar analizlerinin yapılması için ANSYS yazılımına aktarılmıştır. Kalın duvarlı kesme silindirinde kullanılan hidrolik yağın sıcaklık ve basınç parametrelerinin sahadaki çalışma şartları değerlerine uygun olarak analizler yapılmıştır. Analiz sonucunda kesme silindirinin kalın duvarında oluşan radyal gerilme, eksenel gerilme ve teğetsel gerilme ile toplam şekil değiştirme değerleri bulunmuştur. Bu üç gerilme değeri kullanılarak kesme silindirinin elastik davranışını belirlemek için von Mises eşdeğer gerilme değeri hesaplanmıştır. Bu çalışmada girdi parametresi olarak kesme silindirinde bulunan hidrolik yağın sıcaklık ve basınç değerleri seçilmiştir. Bununla birlikte çıktı parametresi olarak von Mises eşdeğer gerilmesi ile toplam şekil değiştirme ve kesme silindirinin sağladığı kesme kuvveti tanımlanmıştır. Bu parametreler kullanılarak, Parametrik Korelasyon Yöntemi ile ANSYS yazılımında çok amaçlı optimizasyon işlemi yapılmıştır. Bunun için toplam şekil değiştirme ve von Mises eşdeğer gerilme değerleri kısıt olarak belirlenmiş ve bu parametrelerin en küçük değerlerinin bulunması amaçlanmış, kesme kuvveti çıktı parametresi ise hedef olarak belirlenmiş ve en büyük değerinin bulunması amaçlanmıştır. Kesme kuvvetinin belirlenen sınırlar içinde kalan en büyük değeri olan 7.9 x 106 N için yapılan optimizasyon çalışması ile en uygun sıcaklık; 42.94 oC ve basınç; 34.73 MPa olarak bulunmuştur.
