Abstract:

Abstract:
Recent years have seen a great deal of interest in the studies on identity. This concern has become a real crisis experienced by different cultural groups, including young people, in the shadow of globalization, which seeks to negate the culture of the other and impose a single pattern of consumption and behavior.
Although the process of identity formation is a continuous process, the problem of its formation reaches a climax in the stage of young people who live in contradiction and conflict between past and present. Therefore, this study seeks to attempt to uncover the effects of globalization on the cultural identity of Algerian youth and ways to deal with it.
