Abstract:

Saadallah Wannous’s theatrical works took a pioneering position in the modern Arab theater, because of its nationalistic background and progressive content. It was linked to reality represented by its political events that shook the nation’s feelings. The Israeli-Palestinian conflict comes at the forefront of these events that brought all the Arab focus and attention around. Thus, the theatrical movement throughout the Arab world dealt with those works from several and different visions and templates. The experience of Saadallah Wannous came as a culmination of these experiences, as he was considered the intellectual who remained close to the concerns and issues of the Arab human being..
