Abstract:

The mouth of the Sebou River, near Kenitra, is heavily affected by pollution due to urban discharges and intense port activity related to marine fishing. In addition, the upper basin hosts various urban, industrial, and agricultural activities that contribute to the increasing vulnerability of natural resources. This study aims to highlight the main forms of pollution in the area, examine their environmental impacts, and propose possible measures to reduce and mitigate them.
