Abstract:

The formation of the Safavid state of Azerbaijan and the unifying of the southern and northern provinces of our country are one of the exceptional events of our homeland in the Middle ages. Numerous investigations on the history of the Safavid state were conducted in the historiography of both the homeland and the foreign countries, and a number of voluable research works were written. These works mainly contributed to the coverage of the dark pages of the homeland, covering the political, economic, social and cultural issues of the Safavids. However, many issues that have not yet been studied or poorly studied about the Safavid rulers still remain. Although a number of monographs and articles contain voluable information. About the Safavidstatesmilitaryhis→ry,thereisnospecial∈vestigationonthisiss.–So,thereisagreat≠edforascientific∈vestigationoftheprob≤m.Thesestudiescancontribute→theelim∈ationofthecurrentgaπnthestudyoftheSafavtatesmilitaryhis→ry,thereisnospecial∈vestigationonthisiss.̲So,thereisagreat≠edforascientific∈vestigationoftheprob≤m.Thesestudiescancontribute→theelim∈ationofthecurrentgaπnthestudyoftheSafavtates military history, there is no special investigation on this issul. So, there is a great need for a scientific investigation of the problem. These studies can contribute to the elimination of the current gapin the study of the Safavid states military construction. The article based on primary sources deals with the structure of the army of the Azerbaijani Safavi Empire, and grounds the fact of its transformation during the reign of Shah Abbas I (1587-1629) into the most powerful regular army of its time. In the article were given new and interesting facts on the sources of the Safavidarmy for the first time.

Azərbaycan Səfəvilər dövlətinin yaranması və bu dövlətin tərkibində şimallı-cənublu bütün Vətən torpaqlarının birləşdirilməsi, bununla da vahid mərkəzləşdirilmiş Azərbaycan dövlətinin yaradılması orta əsrlər tariximizdə müstəsna əhəmiyyətə malik olan hadisələrindəndir. İstər Vətən, istərsə də xarici öl¬kələrin tarixşünaslığında Səfəvilər dövlətinin tarixi ilə bağlı bir çox araşdırmalar aparılmış, bir sıra qiymətli tədqiqat əsərləri yazılmışdır. Bu əsərlər əsasən Səfəvilərin tarixinin siyasi, iqtisadi, sosial, mədəni məsələlərini əhatə etməklə Vətən tarixinin öyrənilməmiş səhifələrinin işıqlandırılmasına öz töhfəsini vermişdir.Bununla belə, Səfəvilər dövlətinin tarixi ilə bağlı lazımınca araşdırılmamış və ya¬xud təhrif olunmuş bir çox məsələlər hələ də qalmaqdadır. Bir sıra monoqrafiya və məqalələrdə Səfəvilər dövlətinin hərb tarixi ilə bağlı qiymətli məlumatlara rast gəlinsə də,bu məsələyə dair xüsusi araşdırma mövcud deyildir. Odur ki, problemin araşdırılmasına böyük ehtiyac vardır. Bu tədqiqat Səfəvilər dövlətinin ordu quruculuğunun öyrənilməsi sahəsində mövcud boşluğu aradan qaldırmaq məqsədi daşıyır.Məqalədə ilk mənbələr əsasında Azərbaycan Səfəvi imperiyası ordusunun quruluşundan bəhs olunur, bu ordunun Şah I Abbasın hakimiyyəti illərində (1587-1629) öz dövrünün ən qüdrətli nizamlı ordusu səviyyəsinə yüksəldiyi əsaslandırılır. Məqalədə ilk dəfə olaraq Səfəvi ordusunun quruluşu barədə indiyədək lazımınca tədqiqata cəlb olunmamış mənbələr əsasında yeni və maraqlı faktlar verilir.
