Abstract:

The immigrant self faces change imposed by the foreign space that contradict its original identity .which leads to the breakdown of its self-worth that impedes the establishment of its relation ,ship with the other ,so it is forced to live with it in constant anxiety ,unable to activate its role within the social institution ,instead of this self-going to build an identity, integrated ,we find it constantly questioning itself it carries the seeds of a crack in its psychological and social entity which creates an identity crisis. This is what the contemporary Algerian novelist ‘s narrative carried about the issue of identity according to different contexts ,as it formed a basic theme in all narrative writings, similar to what yasmina khadra dealt with in his novel “khalil” . And his representation of the identity of the immigrant terrorist, which we will study through a campaign of questions : why did the self seek to adopt a closed identity ? How did it deal with its internal diaspora ? what is the other reflected it ?.
