Abstract:

Following the adoption of Islam by the Turks, the changes brought about by the Islamic faith affected Turkish literature just as it did many other fields. In particular, various issues such as the life of the Prophet, his outstanding characteristics and miracles were reflected in literary texts. In this regard, different literary genres such as sirah, hilya, mawlid, forty ahadith, miraj name have been composed In classical Turkish literature, the miracle of Miraj, the Prophets journey from Masjid al-Haram to Masjid al-Aqsa and his ascension from there to the heavens, has been one of the most frequently covered subjects. The miracle of Miraj, which is regarded as one of the greatest miracles of the Prophet Muhammad, was treated as a subject in divans and masnavis, and a large number of individual works called miraj name or mirajiyah, both prose and verse, were written on the subject of miraj. One of these mirajiyahs is Edayis mirajiyah, which is also the subject of this study. The information about Edâyî, whose name cannot be found in the tazkiras and biographical sources, is limited to the fact that he was from Sarajevo and lived in the 16th century. The mirajiyah belonging to Edayi is located in Gazi Hüsrev Bey Library under the title Mirāciyye-i Edāyī Efendi between folios 11b-12b and 15a-16b in the mecmua manuscript poetry anthology registered under the number R-4007. Written in form of qasida, mirajiyah consists of 121 couplets. There is no record in or at the end of the document as to when the mirajiyah was written. In our study, the transcribed text and criticism of this mirajiyah are presented. It is aimed to contribute to the mirajiyah genre by presenting and introducing this mirajiyah.

Bilhassa Hz. Peygamberin hayatı, üstün özellikleri, mucizeleri gibi çeşitli hususlar edebî metinlere yansımış bu bağlamda siyer, hilye, mevlid, kırk hadis, miraciye gibi farklı edebî türler ortaya koyulmuştur. Klasik Türk edebiyatında, Hz. Peygamberin Mescid-i Haramdan Mescid-i Aksâya gitmesi ve oradan da semaya yükselmesi mucizesi olan miraç hadisesi en çok işlenen konulardan olmuştur. Hz.
