 يهدف البحث الحالي إلى إعداد منهج لمادة مبادئ الصناعات الجلدية للفرقة الأولى قسم الاقتصاد المنزلي بكلية التربية النوعية جامعة عين شمس، وقياس فاعليته من حيث الجانب التحصيلي والتطبيقي ورأي الطلاب بالمنهج المقترح. أما عينة البحث فهي طلاب الفرقة الأولى بقسم الاقتصاد المنزلي. وتم استخدام بطاقة ملاحظة للأداء المهاري للطلاب، واختبار تحصيلي (قبلي / بعدي)، واختبار مهاري (قبلي /بعدى)، ومقياس تقدير واستبيان لمعرفة رأي الطلاب. وكانت أهم النتائج هي وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين متوسطات درجات الطلاب (عينة البحث) في الاختبار التحصيلي والتطبيقي (القبلي، البعدي) لصالح الاختبار البعدي، كما جاء رأي الطلاب إيجابيا نحو منهج مبادئ الصناعات الجلدية المقترح.
                  The current research aims to prepare a curriculum for the subject of the principles of leather industries for the first year, Department of Home Economics, Faculty of Specific Education, Ain Shams University, and to measure its effectiveness in terms of the achievement and applied aspect, and the student's opinion of the proposed curriculum. The research sample is the students of the first year in the Department of Home Economics. A note card was used for the students' skill performance, an achievement test (pre/post), a skill test (pre/post), a rating scale, and a questionnaire to know the students' opinions. The most important results were the presence of statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the students (the research sample) in the achievement and applied test (pre, post) in favor of the post-test, and the students' opinion was positive about the curriculum of the proposed leather industry principles.
