Abstract:

Abstract: Endowment is legal according to the agreement of the jurists, and it is permissible and likable to him who was rich, because it is charity from alms, and the legitimacy of alms has been proven in general and endearing to it in the Holy Book and the noble Sunnah, and the endowment is an Islamic ritual, as it is one of the types of ongoing charities that a person approaches to his Lord, and the effect of that comes in the necessity Commitment to legality in the establishment and management of the endowment, and by staying away from the prohibitions, it is not permissible to establish the endowment with unlawful money.
It differed in the definition of endowment according to the jurisprudential doctrine, and according to the view of the endowment and its importance, except that everyone agreed on the general idea, that the endowment is the 'imprisonment of origin and the allocation of benefits to the aspects of righteousness', for this endowment in Islam has gained a great status and a high position for this count of what the Muslim will pay for And the reward for it after his death, so Muslims took an interest in it, past and present, and they paid careful attention to it and it was the subject of permanent and continuous care.
Islam defined the general rules, principles, and conditions that must be met in the endowment, the endowment, and the arrested body, leaving administrative and supervisory matters and investment policies to be determined according to the interest and for the benefit.
The inhabitants of the Central Maghreb, as a general Muslim, took an interest in the endowment and embodied it in many fields and specializations. Therefore, the endowment system in the Central Maghreb remained during the intermediate period and for a long time, the main pillar for carrying a number of burdens, requirements and social services that are assumed today by carrying relevant sectors. The endowment has performed social, religious and educational functions And cultural, relief and health, and others, and its huge remains, institutions and properties are still witness to this.
In this way, the dimensions of the endowments were embodied in the lives of people through the suspension of mosques, schools, libraries, sanatoriums, nursing homes and the handicapped.
