Abstract:

In this text, we will focus on the body and sovereignty that dominates people in daily life. The sculpted bodies aestheticize themselves in a cultural context. On the other hand, performative bodies bounce sovereign or domination with resistance. With the performative field leaning over the body, the body's self-disclosure process is at the point of forming a threshold. This in-between position is revealed by a process that interrupts the daily and engulfs the other in the viewer position. We will analyze how the change in time and space affects performative and sculpted bodies. And also, protest art embodied in the face of the aestheticized body pressure created by the post-digital age will be revealed. There will be a discussion on examples from Marina Abramović, Jackson Pollock, Yves Klein, and Banksy will be discussed.
