Abstract:

During ayoubid ages, as a general practice. Muslim historians while writing narration's of crusaders were most interested in warfare and hostile relations between Muslims and crusader than in any attempt to have a pictorial description of what crusader would be during peace times. A critical reviewer of works made by such historians can notice but very dearth hints of any aspect of civilization and some other occasional indications narrated insignificantly as anecdotes od some contemporary figures like bin Jubair's journey and prince osama bin mungiz in his book "AL l'tibar". \\ As for franks historians seemingly they were more interested in proving descriptions of franks life styles and civilization in the orient in terms of their houses, routers, festivals, hobbies and the ways they celebrate different occasions they were also disposed to describe the westerns enjoying oriental baths more the battles and other similar news this might be accounted for the bitterness and sandiness deeply felt about the oriented influence on westerns. \\ in this context. The present study attempted to bring franks woman's life in bilad al sham into focau throung ienses of what had been written by franks historians and commented by some most recent Muslim historians. The present study concluded that franks woman had very influential role to play in various life aspect. In politics as well as in social life franks women had a vantage status. Socially, for example, they acted on fusion of various social norms and tradition. Imported many Oriental norms in to west, and introduced various, western fads into the Orient such as head pandas, and belts gathering hair. In addition they motivated poets to write poetry about women and beauty.
