Mother tongue education is essential for strengthening the connections of people to their environment increasing their thinking and expressing capabilities and leading them to civilization. Turkish lesson is not information but is a skill lesson. Depending on this the aim of Turkish lesson is to develop the main skills at the curriculum (using Turkish correctly, well and efficiently, critical thinking, creative thinking, communicating, problem solving, determining, using information technology, searching and enterprising) together with four main language skills; reading, listening, speaking and writing. The aim of this study is to explain the basic skills at Primary schools Turkish Education Curriculum, to emphasize the ways of improving these basic skills and to suggest activity proposals about developing these skills.

 


İnsanın çevresiyle kurduğu bağı güçlendirmek, düşünce ve ifade gücünü artırmak, çağdaşlaşmasının önünü açmak amacıyla ana dili eğitimi önemlidir. Türkçe dersi, bilgi değil beceri dersidir. Buna bağlı olarak Türkçe dersinin amacı, dört temel dil becerisi olan okuma, dinleme, konuşma, yazma ile bağlantılı olarak programda yer alan temel becerileri (Türkçeyi doğru, güzel ve etkili kullanma, eleştirel düşünme, yaratıcı düşünme, iletişim kurma, problem çözme, karar verme, bilgi teknolojilerini kullanma, araştırma, girişimcilik) de geliştirmektir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, İlköğretim Türkçe Dersi Öğretim Programı’nda yer verilen temel becerileri açıklamak, temel becerileri geliştirme yolları üzerinde durmak ve temel becerileri geliştirmeye yönelik etkinlik önerileri sunmaktır.
