Abstract:

This article offers a reflection on the role of youth in local development, emphasizing the dynamics of social and spatial cohesion, which are essential components in the socio-spatial analysis within urban geography. It highlights the significant challenges faced by Moroccan youth in a context of profound transformations reshaping collective and individual representations of life. Rather than solely pursuing personal emancipation, young people emerge as key actors in a broader process of restructuring both individual and collective experiences at the local level. Keywords: Youth; Spatial Practices; Social Cohesion; Integration; Local Development, Morocco.
