Abstract:

The aim of the study, in line with the opinions of the instructors who provide string instrument training, is to determine the current status of the bow plan training for the work. The study group consists of 21 instructors who volunteer for the study and provide string instruments education in the music education departments and state conservatories of the faculties of education in Turkey in the 2021-2022 academic year. In the research where a case study pattern was used from qualitative research methods, the data were collected with a semi-structured interview form and the obtained data were analyzed by content analysis method. According to the results obtained, bow plan training for the work is very significant in terms of announcing musical expressions and providing performance ability. According to the lecturers who stated that the written sources on the subject were very insufficient, the measurement structure of the work is important in the process of determining the places where the bow should be pulled and pushed in the work. The tempo of the work is one of the factors to be considered in the process of the regional use plan of the bow within the work.
