Abstract:

In this article, one of interesting personalities of Islamic history, Abdullah Ibn Saad Ibn Abi al-Sarh has been mentioned. In the study, firstly the rumors related to him in classical hadith sources were determined. Then the text and isnad criticism of these narrations were made. In this study, some questions about Ibn Abi al-Sarh were searched. Some of these questions are as follows: did Ibn Abi al-Sarh apostatize? Is there any narration to support the death of an infidel in the classical hadith sources? Is there any illegitimate or aphoristic narratives in the classical hadith sources that he has falsified the Holy Quran? Are the indications of the verses allegedly related to Ibn Abi al-Sarh? In addition to all these, there are also some items which are allied and notmentioned in Ibn Abi al-Sarh 's life.
