Abstract:

ÖZETAntep fıstığının ekonomik analizini kapsayan bu çalışmanınbirinci bölümünde Gaziantep yöresinde üretilen başlıcatarımsal ürünlerin verim, fiyat, gayrı safi hasılalarında yıldanyıla. görülen dalgalanmalardan ileri geien belirsizlik durumu, orijinal ve,rilerden ve bu serilerin trenden sapmalarından (sistentatikbileşenlerinden arınmış, geriye sadece testUiiifi dalgalanmalarkalmıştır) hesaplanan değişkenlik katsayıları ile öl·çülmüŞtür. Buna göre: a) Antep fıstığı en yüksek verim belirsizliğigöstermekte olup, diğer ürünlerin verimlerinde deyıldan yıla şiddetli dalgalanmalar görülmektedir. b) Ürünfiyatlarında yıldan yıla şiddetli dalgalanmalar görülmekle beraber, tesadUfi değişkenlik katsayılarının bütün ürünlerde orijinalfiyatlardan hesaplanan' değişkenlik katsayılarına göredüşük olduğu görülmüştür. Bu ise fiyattaki dalgalanmalardatesadüfi dalgalanmaların büyük bir yer tutmadığ~nı izah etmektedir.c) Gayrı safi hasıla belirsizliğini meydana getirenverim ve fiyat değişmelerinin aynı yönde oluşlat!, ürünlerdenelde edlten gelirlerde şiddetli dalgalanmalara sebep olmuştur.Gelirde görüıen değişmeler bütün ürünlerde şiddetli olmaklaberaber yine Antep fıstığında en yüksektir.Ikinci bölümde etüd edilen· işletmelerde saf hasıla 4,779.80TL. ile 143,385,30 TL. arasında değişmekte olup, elde edilensaf hasıla ilk iki grupta aktif sermayenin faizini karşılamadığındanişletmelerin yıllık faaliyetleri zararla, son iki gruptaaktif sermayenin faizini karşıladığından yıllık faaliyetleri karlaneti-çe1enmiştir.Işletmelerde nüfus başına düşen tarımsal gelir, 1,895,15TL. (l. grup) - 13,185.18 TL. Sermaye faktörleri işletmelerde a.nziolarak kullanıldığından bazı denklemlerde önemli çıkmamıştır.Mamafih ilaç, alet-makina 've bilhassa gübre faktörününmarjinal verimleri denklemlerde yüksek çıkmıştır.AN-ECONOMICANALYSİS OF PISTACIO-NUT IN GAZİANTEP

The data used in this studywhıch covers the ecol).omical analysisof Antep nut (pıstacıa nut),are obtained from the followingsources: a) The gucstıon~erstakenfrom 100 farms selected in randomm 1972., b) From the State Statis'tical institude Çlnd Gaziantep TeknikZiraat Müdürlüğü.in the first part of this study, uncertainty .sıtuation which basedon year to year fluctuations inpraduction, pike; and gross mcomeof the major agnculturalcrops grown around the Gazianteparea, ıs analysed 'Wlth the varıabiUtyconstans cakulated from theorijinal deta and the variationsfr:om the trend of these data findings-as explained below.a) Antep nut showed the highestproduction uncertainty andalsa -extrem fluctuations was observedin the production of othercrops from year to year.b) Altough the sharp fluctuatiol).s accured in crop prices, itwas seen that the coofficients ofvariatinos (randam· movements)were lower than the constantcooficients of variations cakula·ted from the oriji~~l prices for allcrops. This shows that randomfluctuations do not greatly effectthe fluctlla tions:c) Both, productuon and pricevariations which create uncertaiİıyof gross income are in the samedirectlon. These two parallel forces;the variations in productidnand the variations in price couldbe the major causes for sharpfluctuations in- the gross agnculturalincome ob~ained..Altough incomevariations, are high for allcrops, but highest income variationsis s~en m Antep nut.in the second part of this studyıt has been found that the net an-·nual income of all· the farnıs investigated,.ranged from 4,799.80TL. to 143.385.30 TL. Since the netincome for the first two groupscould not ıneet the interest of theactive capitaL, these farms closedtheir annua! activities in deficit.Contrary two the first groups, thenet annual incomeof the last twogroups could meet the interest ofthe active capital and for this reasonannual activities of thesefarms are closed in profit. Percapita agrıcuItural income in allfarms varied from 1,895.15 TL. toÜ,185.18 TL. for the first andfourth groups respectively. Theaverage per capita income for allgroups was found 1,895.75 TL.These amounts could provide thesufficient living standarts to farmersin all, but the first groupwith reepest to the living standartsin Turkey. In the third part of the study, relationships between the amountof yield and factors affecting theproduction have been studied withthe Cobb-Douglas type of functionalanalysis. This parts was studiedthree partions; Productionfunctions (1) at fann leveL, (2)at regional leveL.Economic implications of thesefunctions are discussed on the ba·ses findings as explained below. In these equations multiplecorrelation coefficients (R2) werevery high (generally 0.95). In thisstudy it has been found that thevariables, the land vaule and thenumber of trees are the most importantfactors aff~cting the production. At least coefficient of oneof the factors representing the laborunit was found to be significantat each equation. Sinee capitalwere not used commenly in allfarms, coefficients of capital wasfound to be non significant insame equations Marginal ineomesof the factors of pesticades, equipment, machinary and particularlyfertilisers were found to be highin the equations.
