 عرف موضوع الدولة إهتماما كبيرا من قبل المنظرين والباحثين منذ نشأتها، إلا أنه يبدو أن الموضوع المهيمن في العلاقات الدولية في الوقت الحاضر معكوس على نحو متماثل تقريبا مع ماكانت الحال عليه في تسعينيات القرن الماضي من حيث بناء الدولة أي الحاجة الملحة إلى بناء دول مستقلة قابلة للحياة، كما أن لكل حالة بناء للدولة مسارا مختلفا بالإعتماد على حقائق المجتمعات.
تهدف هذه الورقة التعريف بمفهوم بناء الدولة "State-Building " ومسح جملة الخصائص التي تتميز بها، وكذا متطلبات بناء الدولة "السياسية والدستورية والقانونية و الإقتصادية و الإدارية"، وتحديد تحدياتها" أزمة الهوية و أزمة الإندماج و عدم إستكمال عملية البناء المؤسسي للدولة وتأزم في علاقة الدولة بالمجتمع وأزمة الشرعية ومشكلة التخلف "، وتسليط الضوء على الإتجاهات النظرية المفسرة لبناء الدولة وذلك للخروج بجملة من النتائج .
Abstract:African witnessed before and distance of postwar cold political changes and economic important economistand in characteristic of the scientist third, the cold war perceived in  Her termination, except that the impacts which African touched was the more depth and wide wide spread of losing collapsed the state in number of her parts or be about to of which pushing of the theoreticians and as that vines big to the invitation for necessity of establishing governmental organizations new .
