Abstract:

Anahtar Kelimeler: Kur’an, Harf, Kelime, Belâgat, Fesâhat, Kakofoni.

ABSTRACTThis article attempts to study whether the Holy Koran has anylapses on the basis of individual words. In this respect, there are two main views set forth so far by Islamic scholars: One of them argues that there is not any non-observances in the fluency of Koran on the basis of individual words while the other maintains that despite some non-observances in its fluency they wouldnever mar the unique quality of Koranic fluency. The view which we seem to hold may be considered to be a sort of reconciliation of these two controversial views. In accordance with this point of view the question was studied in the light of Koranic logic and its miraculous arrangement of words.Key Words: Koran, Letter, Word, Eloquence, Fluency, Dissonance (Cacophony).
