 The aim of this study is to evaluate the books in TRT Childrens Library, one of the most comprehensive digital childrens libraries in Turkey, in terms of critical thinking and creativity skills. In the study, 51 books on the theme of Curious Scholar in TRT Childrens Bookshelf were examined in terms of critical thinking and creativity dimensions of 21st century skills by descriptive analysis method. During the analysis, the sub-dimensions suggested by Torrance 1995 for creativity and Nosich 2016 for critical thinking were taken as a basis. The results showed that the skill of asking qualified questions 62 was prominent among the critical thinking dimensions; however, sub-dimensions such as providing solid reasons and making decisions according to rational criteria were not covered at all or not at all. In the creativity dimensions, fluency 72 was emphasized the most, while other dimensions such as flexibility were dealt with less. In addition, it is noteworthy that 27 out of 51 books did not include any elements of creativity and 17 did not include any elements of critical thinking skills. These findings show that the content of TRT Childrens Bookshelf should be handled in a more balanced and comprehensive.

 Bu araştırmanın amacı, Türkiyenin en kapsamlı dijital çocuk kütüphanelerinden biri olan TRT Çocuk Kitaplık uygulamasında bulunan kitapların, eleştirel düşünme ve yaratıcılık becerileri açısından değerlendirilmesidir. Araştırmada, TRT Çocuk Kitaplıkta Meraklı Bilgin temasındaki 51 kitap, 21. yüzyıl becerilerinden eleştirel düşünme ve yaratıcılık boyutları açısından betimsel analiz yöntemiyle incelenmiştir. İnceleme sırasında, yaratıcılık için Torrance 1995 ve eleştirel düşünme için Nosich 2016 tarafından önerilen alt boyutlar esas alınmıştır. Sonuçlar, eleştirel düşünme boyutlarından nitelikli soru sorma 62 becerisinin öne çıktığını; ancak sağlam gerekçeler sunma ve akla uygun ölçütlere göre karar verme gibi alt boyutların az veya hiç işlenmediğini göstermiştir. Yaratıcılık boyutlarında ise en çok akıcılık 72 vurgulanırken esneklik gibi diğer boyutların daha az ele alındığı görülmüştür. Ayrıca, 51 kitaptan 27sinde yaratıcılık, 17sinde ise eleştirel düşünme becerilerine dair herhangi bir unsurun bulunmaması dikkat çekicidir. Bu bulgular, çocukların eleştirel düşünme ve yaratıcılık becerilerinin gelişimini desteklemek için TRT Çocuk Kitaplık içeriklerinin daha dengeli ve kapsamlı bir şekilde ele alınması gerektiğini göstermektedir.
