Presented the short review of the collective monograph "Debt Problem as Phenomenon of the
XXI Century" under the editorship of A.A. Porokhovsky (M.: MAKS Press, 2014. – 288 p.). From various theoretical positions the group of authors considered an actual problem of modern world economy that allowed them to prove the wide range of the conclusions carrying "a debt problem" as to the
factors provoking financial and economic crises and to the factors promoting economic growth. .
