Abstract:

 We have come to highlight the positive role of labour punishment for public benefit as an alternative to short-term imprisonment, and we have concluded to emphasize the need for concerted efforts by judicial and non-judicial organs and civil society to contribute to its success. The study also showed some shortcomings related to the implementation of labour penalty for public benefit in Algerian law, which in the future will make this punishment more effective in our country

                  Cette étude a démontré le rôle positif de cette peine comme alternative à la peine d’emprisonnement courte durée, elle a insisté sur le rôle de l’autorité judiciaire et non judiciaire et la société civile à contribuer à son succès elle a démontré certaines lacunes liées à la mise en oeuvre de cette peine, chose qu’ il importera de rattraper à l’avenir pour
rendre cette peine plus efficace dans notre pays.
                  قد توصلنا إلى إبراز الدور الإيجابي لعقوبة العمل للنفع العام كبديل لعقوبة الحبس قصير المدة، وانتهينا إلى التأكيد على ضرورة تضافر جهود الأجهزة القضائية وغير القضائية والمجتمع المدني للمساهمة في إنجاحها كما بينت الدراسة بعض أوجه القصور المتعلقة بتنفيذ عقوبة العمل للنفع العام في القانون الجزائري والتي سيؤدي تداركها في المستقبل إلى جعل هذه العقوبة أكثر فعالية في بلادنا
