Abstract:

Mots clés : ville postcoloniale, l’anté-peuple, déchéance, Sony Labou Tansi Abstract The city has become a key theme in African literature, and is analyzed in many ways. The present study focuses on the relationship between the representation of the postcolonial city and the characters, with urban space playing a fundamental role in the constitution of the plot. Using an eclectic approach, we will endeavor to demonstrate that the character in Anté-peuple undergoes the urban space that leads him towards decay and alienation. Keywords: postcolonial city, l'anté-peuple, decline, Sony Labou Tansi.
