Abstract:

Abstract
Despite the evolution of the national and transnational legal system associated with the status of women in public and political life in particular, the reality does not reflect the desired state of empowerment
On the basis of this, the study aims to clarify the reasons of the failure to reach the full empowerment status in the Maghreb countries through one of the specialized theoretical efforts, namely Glass Ceiling Theory
The study found that men's stereotypical profil about women kept her roles limited to traditional work, because of the invisible barriers to women's political empowerment. It is the same interpretation adopted from the entrance to the glass ceiling.
