Abstract:

One of the new movements of contemporary arts and creative versions of conceptual arts is the art of installation. This branch of art is shaped according to the physical reality of the space where it is applied. Because in this case, the art object is no longer in the focus but acts as a stunt double. In art galleries, digital platforms and museums, where new exhibition practices take center stage, artistic products are put on a performance. The installations first take viewers on an intellectual journey and then return them to the physical realm. Ultimately, these new programs are a different act of seeking to give meaning to the works on display. Different combinations of mystical, ornamental compositions and many other aesthetic works of Islamic arts have been offering visual feasts to visitors through various mediums for centuries. For this reason, installations, which are one of the mechanisms that enable Islamic arts to establish contact with new generations on national and international platforms, are an effective artistic communication actor. In this study, which was tried to be realized with document research and scanning methods, it was tried to analyze the interactions of the rare objects and works of Islamic arts with the viewers in museums through installations, which are one of the contemporary display practices of new media arts. As a result, some artistic activities are increasingly appearing on digital media. It is foreseeable that the most special artistic contents of the ancient Islamic civilization will cumulatively come to the agenda more and more in the near future through effective platforms, inspired by technology. This article evaluates the impact of Islamic arts installations in museums and the contact of new exhibition positions with audiences. Islamic arts are a set of disciplines that define the understanding of arts in the Islamic world, which has a rich and diverse cultural heritage. These arts, as well as their historical and aesthetic significance, offer an insight into the depths of Islamic culture. Museums provide an important setting for the preservation, display and expression of Islamic arts. However, the performance of Islamic arts installations in museums is still a mode of practice with controversial issues and challenges. Therefore, many factors are taken into consideration to evaluate the impact of Islamic arts installations in museums. In installation designs, imaging and space arrangement are planned first. Islamic arts installations draw attention with their unique style and sensitive structure. Because displaying the right objects in a healthy way is a sensitive issue that is emphasized in terms of providing a lasting and enjoyable experience for museum participants. Islamic arts include many elements such as Islamic culture, history, symbolism and aesthetic values. The aim here is to ensure that Islamic culture is accurately transmitted and understood through objects and that Islamic arts are better known. The study of Islamic arts installations in museums is also informed by social and political factors. Islamic arts are composed of data derived from issues such as cultural diversity, faith, history and identity. Museums construct these installations as a way of presenting Islamic arts to the public. They also address technical issues such as the conservation and restoration of works of Islamic arts. These artifacts are vulnerable to temporal influences and need the right conservation methods. For museums to preserve rare works of Islamic arts in a way that will preserve them for many years requires specialized knowledge. The result of this research shows that new museological trends and thought factors are influential factors in the exhibition of Islamic art and architecture. With special sociological reference, how the use of a space can be evaluated culturally and technically requires a contemporary analysis practice. Therefore, installation, as a special branch of art, is an artistic activity that can be learned through exploration using various materials and space. It is also possible to exhibit installations through Islamic institutions. For example, a museum could exhibit installations made with modern architecture combined with traditional Islamic artworks. In this context, Islamic symbolism is combined with the programming of modern images and symbols to create new meanings. Installations can also be used to draw attention to different forms of traditional elements of Islamic arts. However, the sacredness of the religion and the principles of faith in Islam are issues that need to be addressed in a special way. Curators can produce important artistic content by being consistent and rigorous when exhibiting certain elements of Islamic art in conjunction with religious rituals.
