Abstract:

Single and double entry volume tables have been constructed for mixed stands of Uludağ fir, scotch pine and beech. For this aim, stem analysis data have been used from 28 Uludağ fir, 27 scotch pine and 27 beech, felled mixed stands. By using Huber’s Formula, the volume of each section in a sample tree stem was calculated. Regression analysis was used and 3 equations were examined for single entry and 5 equations were examined for double entry volume tables according to coefficient of determination, standart error, total error, percent total error and percent absolute mean error.
