Abstract:

This study aims to determine tourists perceptions and satisfaction levels regarding tour guiding services by analyzing reviews of tour guides in Kyrgyzstan on TripAdvisor. Given Kyrgyzstans tourism potential, analyzing feedback on digital platforms is considered crucial for effectively evaluating tourism services and enhancing tourist satisfaction. The research employs a qualitative method, specifically document analysis, to examine the collected data. A total of 573 reviews for the top 10 most reviewed guides in Kyrgyzstan on TripAdvisor were analyzed. The reviews were categorized into positive and negative feedback and assessed through content analysis. The findings reveal a generally high level of satisfaction among tourists with the guides. Attributes such as the guides knowledge, foreign language skills, helpfulness, and professionalism were prominently highlighted. Additionally, characteristics like friendliness, customer orientation, and communication skills were frequently mentioned in the reviews. Based on these results, several recommendations are made to improve the quality of guiding services in Kyrgyzstan, including: implementing legal regulations and standards for the guiding profession, establishing an official certification system, and developing effective marketing strategies for tourism promotion.
