This study investigates the causes and factors that led to the fall of the Funj Sultanate (also known as Sultanate of Sinner), the first and largest Islamic kingdoms in the Sudan, whose appearance constituted an important model in raising the status of Islam and preserving the Islamic cultural heritage and the Arab-Islamic culture. It was established at the beginning of the sixteenth century (1504 -1821 AD) as a result of this alliance between the Funj chaired by AMARA DUNQAS the leader of the Funj and ABDALLAH JAMMA the leader of Al Abdala and resulted in the leading role played by this authority in the history of Sudan in all fields as its borders extended from Swakin east to the White Nile to the west and from the Abyssinian Plateau south to Al Shalala Al Thales to the north, the kings of Fung and the sheikhs of Al-Abdala shared the kingdom’s influence. In the historical sources, it is known for several names from (Sultanate of sinner - Kingdom of Funj - the Blue Sultanate). Its reign lasted for more than three centuries but during this period it was not a stable reign and its influence continued to diminish ... eventually led to its weakness and fall. Therefore, the fall was not surprising, but there were factors and reasons that led to this and can be divided into political reasons: represented in Foreign wars, especially in Abyssinia. Internal wars (Darfur). Internal revolutions (the revolution of Sigiriya - Taka - Shukria). Dispute over power and throne. Control over reign by the barbaric Ministry. Administrative and political imbalances. Economic reasons: factors have combined to change the economic situation on the commercial aspects in all state facilities due to the absence of security. Social reason: The deterioration of political and economic conditions led to the deterioration of social conditions in the structure and entity of the state, especially the deterioration and weakness of the sultans, which led to the loss of the prestige of the king. Religious reasons: The deterioration of the political, economic and social conditions in the influence of the religious leadership which formed a second authority having influential in the state. All these political, economic, social and religious reasons combined to break up the unity of the state and then fall into the hands of the armies of Ismael Pasha, who entered sinner in June 1821 without the slightest resistance declaring the end of the largest and greatest Islamic kingdoms in the history of Sudan and middle history.
