A range of methods of treatment have emerged in the framework of cognitive behavioral therapy, which is based on the restoration of cognitive structure, assuming that emotional disorders are the result of non-adaptive modes of thinking. This therapeutic curve is characterized by dealing with various mental disorders from a Tri-perspective, as it deals with cognitive, emotional and behavioral components, using a variety of strategies to help individuals examine and understand the content of their thinking, and then encourage them to distance themselves from the idea by seeing it as a hypothesis that can be tested. Cognitive behavioral therapy includes a number of qualitative therapeutic techniques, which proves its success in dealing with human behavior, modify the attention, adjusting the attitude to change the dramatic events, and the therapeutic methods used by the cognitive therapist during the treatment, which vary from behavioral methods to cognitive methods. In this article we will highlight the cognitive techniques.
