 Abstract Being an edition of the original work written by Ibn Hayr Hayroğlı, Hayrunoğlı, Ahmed bin Hayr, it is recorded under the archival no. 108 in the National Library in Ankara. The mentioned text consists of 289 foils, written with the aruz prosody of Fâilâtün Fâîlâtün Fâilâtün Fâilün and has 11 752 couplets. The word that is called archaic tr. eskicil has been used in the past but cannot be detected in written language and only rarely in spoken word. Known this kind of structures is important in terms of seeing the change and developments in the language. It is critical to analyze manuscripts of the Turkish-Islamic literature especially in terms of language. Within this context, the archaic tr. eskicil words in Ibn Hayrs work, Kitâb-Hâdî has been detected and the exemplification of the related couplets has been done. These words have been ordered alphabetically and their meanings and where they are being mentioned foil no., couplet no. have been shown. The main aim of this study is to bring an example to other studies by detecting the archaic elements in the text and make a humble contribution to science.

 Özet İbn Hayr Hayroğlı, Hayrunoğlı, Ahmed bin Hayr tarafından kaleme alınan Kitâb-ı Hâdî adlı eser yegâne nüsha olup Ankara Millî Kütüphanede, 06 Mil Yz B 108 arşiv numarasıyla kayıtlıdır. Mezkûr metin 289 varaktan müteşekkil, aruzun Fâilâtün Fâîlâtün Fâilâtün Fâilün kalıbıyla yazılmış olup 11 752 beyitten oluşmaktadır. Arkaikeskicil adı verilen sözcük, eskiden kullanılan ancak yazı dilinde karşımıza çıkmayan, konuşma dilinde ise az rastlanılan kelimeler demektir. Bu tür yapıların bilinmesi, dilin zaman içindeki değişim ve gelişimini göstermesi bakımından önem arz etmektedir. Türk İslam edebiyatı sahasında verilen yazma eserlerin özellikle de dil açısından incelenmesi çok kıymetlidir. Bu bağlamdan hareketle, İbn Hayrın Kitâb-ı Hâdî adlı eserinde yer alan arkaikeskicil kelimeler tespit edilmeye çalışılmış ve ilgili beyitlerin örneklendirilmesi yapılmıştır. Bu kelimeler alfabetik olarak sıralanmış, anlamları ve geçtikleri varak numarası, beyit numarası yerler gösterilmiştir. Bu çalışmadaki ana gaye, metin içerisinde yer alan arkaik kelimeleri tespit edip diğer çalışmalara örnek teşkil etmek ve bilim dünyasına naçizane bir katkı sunmaktır.
