Abstract:

In this study, it was aimed to develop a valid and reliable measurement tool for determining consumer purchasing behavior. In the study, three groups consisting of 1242 people were studied to check comprehensibility and collect data for pre-post application. First, comprehensibility checks were made with the first study group consisting of 26 people. Then, data was obtained from the 2nd study group consisting of 246 consumers with the Consumer Purchasing Behavior Scale pre-application form. For the final application of the Consumer Purchasing Behavior Scale, data was obtained from the 3rd study group consisting of 970 individuals. The dimensions obtained as a result of the analyses and the explained variance loads are as follows; 1. Green Consumption Dimension-9 items 29.56, 2. Visual Consumption Dimension-7 items 15.54, 3. Local National Consumption Dimension-9 items 10.59 and 4. Price Dimension-6 items 9.50. It was determined that the fit index values of the Consumer Purchasing Behavior Scale were within the reference ranges and the reliability of the data was at a high level. As a result, a Consumer Purchasing Behavior Scale, the validity and reliability of which was tested with statistical techniques, was developed.
